A SAD END TO 2009

2009 ended on a sad note for The Residents' Association with the deaths of two of our
founding members and most active Committee Members. In early November John Carlo, our
treasurer passed away after a very short illness and in early December, Peter Duthie, our
Neighbourhood Watch co-ordinator also died unexpectedly. Both John and Peter had been
actively involved in improving our community including working closely with the local police to
reduce crime in the area and liaising with the council to improve the look of the estate by planting bulbs and trees.
The Committee would like to send their deepest condolences to both families and will remember fondly two great men with whom we shared many laughs and anecdotes over a glass of wine or two.
